Bio

Bryce Gilhome has shared the stage with jazz luminaries such as James Morrison, Harry Angus (Cat Empire), Ryan Oliver & The Cookers, Sharon Minemoto, Brad Shigeta & Kelby MacNayr. A dedicated educator, he has been privileged to teach at leading programs such as the Magnify summer program at the Box Hill Institute in Melbourne and the CYMC Island Jazz Intensive in the Comox Valley, one of Canada’s longest running music camps.

Every new year, Bryce sets the same resolution: to keep having what can only be described as near-criminal amounts of fun collaborating with extraordinary musicians and playing shows that are as joyous to watch as they are to perform.

Bryce Gilhome is among the most respected trombonists around, having earned a reputation as a beautiful and lyrical soloist, flawless ensemble player with a gorgeous sound and spirit.
