Bio

Over his career, Bryce has performed and recorded with acclaimed artists including Hiatus Kaiyote, James Morrison, Harry Angus (Cat Empire), Emi Lubitz, Jazzparty, Ryan Oliver & The Cookers, Kelby MacNayr, Brad Shigeta and Jen Hodge. An enthusiastic educator, he has taught at leading programs such as the Magnify Music Program at Box Hill Institute in Melbourne and the CYMC Island Jazz Intensive in the Comox Valley, one of Canada’s longest-running music camps.

Bryce Gilhome is among the most respected trombonists around, having earned a reputation as a beautiful and lyrical soloist, flawless ensemble player with a gorgeous sound and spirit.
